The beautiful writings of the self-taught scientist, J H Fabre are being used to vile ends. Edocere, a "resource for catholic education", or more exactly a means to corrupt the minds of children with bunk and hatred, recommend Fabre's books to the "home-schooled." It is true that Fabre did not accept Darwin's theory of evolution, but neither was he a biblical creationist.
Right now I'm reading Social Life In The Insect World, translated by Bernard Miall. I approach chapters such as, 'The Oak Eggar, or Banded Monk' and 'The Sisyphus Beetle, The Instinct of Paternity'.
